Software Developer

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our student engagement platform. You will work closely with product, design, and business teams to deliver scalable, user-friendly features using modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React and Next.js.
Build reusable UI components with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.
Design and implement backend functionality using Supabase services.
Develop and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and data models.
Integrate authentication, authorization, and real-time features through Supabase.
Collaborate with designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture decisions.
Monitor application performance and implement improvements.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently.
Work in an agile startup environment with rapid product iterations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Strong experience with React.js and Next.js.
Proficiency in TypeScript.
Experience building responsive interfaces using Tailwind CSS.
Hands-on experience with Supabase, including authentication, database management, and serverless functions.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and database design principles.
Understanding of REST APIs and modern web application architecture.
Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing SaaS or student-focused applications.
Knowledge of real-time applications and event-driven systems.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and software quality practices.
